  1. Between the late '60s and the mid '70s, La Ponceña was an expertly calibrated salsa band, exhibiting a ferocious sense of swing, but without the progressive tendencies that would appear later in the game. The superb trio of "Ñáñara Caí," "Bomba Carambomba" and "El Pío Pío" brings us to and the historic Conquista Musical album.
  2. PARNASSUS RECORDS SELECT P OLD Parnassus Records, 51 Goat Hill Road, Saugerties NY , USA PLEASE NOTE THESE VERY IMPORTANT DETAILS!
  3. (Universal) 70 tracks 3-CD, page booklet with many photos, record cover shots, and liner notes written in Dutch, partly in English. Italian favorites presented by Dutch Universal with all-time artists of the genre, incl. legends like Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin singing in Italian language!
  4. Rondo tried putting Ihrke in a trio; we've seen an ad for Rondo , but no copy of the record yet, which suggests less than stellar sales. However, a copy of Rondo has recently surfaced: it gives the trio's lineup as E. Ihrke, organ, W. Behl, Novachord, and J. Yelich, guitar.

  6. 2 classic Lowell Fulsom albums – back to back on one CD! Tramp is one of THE all time classics of funky blues – a record built around Lowell's huge single "Tramp" – a massive tune that spawned a whole generation of answer tunes!"Tramp" kicks off the set with a stone break that's worth the price of the album – then Lowell slides into some tunes that have a bit more of a conventional.
