  1. The album (CD), already long for the time (more than 57 mn), has been extended by more than 10 mn with 2 bonus tracks (4 more tracks than the vynil version!). The tracks are known to the oldest among us and among them are some of Pendragon's must-haves on stage such as "Leviathan", "Alaska" and of course "The Black Knight".
  2. The Jewel, an Album by Pendragon. Released in on Toff (catalog no. PEND12CD; CD). Genres: Neo-Prog, Symphonic Prog.
  3. 'The Jewel', the band's debut album shows a band that has clearly spent a lot of time playing live, as they are extremely proficient and tight musically throughout the record. 'Higher Circles', is a simple, catchy opener that would've probably made a decent single back then/5(7).
  4. Recorded at one of the band's regular appearances at the Marquee, the main London home of the neo-prog revival in the s, Live captures Pendragon in smashing form, presenting the best songs from their debut album, The Jewel, as well as the instrumental Please and Red Shoes from the Kowtow album.
  5. Watch the video for Higher Circles from Pendragon's The Jewel for free, and see the artwork, lyrics and similar artists.
  6. Higher Circles Lyrics: When there’s something where you’ve gotta take your part / You’ve gotta feel it, gotta feel it from the start / Just to be in touch, the gift of luck / To be in higher.
  7. This album gets a hell of a bum rap within some prog rock circles, but it's nowhere near as bad as it's reputation might suggest. By , Pendragon had released an EP and their first full album with the excellent 'The Jewel'. They had also gigged very heavily and supported the likes of Marillion on numerous occasions/5(21).
